Coronavirus – Information for Patients

The Dove Clinic will use this page to update all on what we are doing to protect patients and staff during the current pandemic.  Our main concern is to keep our patients and staff safe and cared for.

*Update May 2021:  All our staff are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and we continue doing lateral flow tests at work to keep our colleagues and patients safe.

Patients and Visitors to the Clinic need to wear a face covering before entering the Clinic.

We want our patients to feel that they are not increasing their risk by attending the Dove Clinic.  We are checking with all patients before they attend to make sure they are symptom free. We have limited patient numbers in the Reception area – patients awaiting a consultation can wait in the car (let us know when you arrive by calling Reception on 01962 718000 #1) and we will call you when the doctor is free.  Nursing treatment patients can access the Clinic via a separate entrance.  Nonclinical staff will observe strict social distancing measures.  If you are worried about attending the Clinic, then as an option, we can arrange a telephone consultation for you.  We can also register new patients who wish to take telephone advice for either themselves or for relatives.

We are also complying with current guidance regarding ventilation as available on gov.uk

If you are concerned about Coronavirus, you can use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service

Please visit the NHS website for the latest information about coronavirus for the public including stay at home advice.  If you are concerned about symptoms then please access the gov.uk website – you can also request a test here.

If you think you have symptoms, you should follow government advice, isolate, and certainly not visit the Clinic.  Please contact the clinic to reschedule any appointments you may have.
