Angiogenesis Inhibitors
These are substances which stop tumours forming new blood vessels by restricting the growth of new blood vessels to supply the tumour. We use a low molecular weight extract of bindweed (Convolvulus Arvensis), which has good animal studies in the mouse sarcoma 180 model. We have had encouraging results in a range of tumours using this preparation. It is well tolerated.
We use a range of biochemical blood tests, which specifically look at the details of immune function in cancer and tumour activity.
